    Event Description
Join us and our October Guest Speaker Ken Goldman, Senior Vice President and CFO of Everbridge, Inc. for Breakfast, Networking, and a fascinating Presentation on Company Innovation. Ken brings over 35 years of experience building finance and technology organizations to his role as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Everbridge. A former recipient of Boston Business Journal’s “CFO of the Year” award, Ken’s financial and operational leadership experience supports Everbridge’s accelerated growth.

Everbridge was founded in the shadow of 9/11 with a focus on mass notification, the ability to deliver messages to hundreds, thousands, or millions of people, simultaneously, during times of manmade or natural disasters.  Recently when hurricane Irma hit the State of Florida, Everbridge was used to communicate with over 10 million Florida residents.  When an active shooter shows up on a corporate campus, Everbridge is used to protect the safety of employees.  When an autistic child goes missing from their home, Everbridge is used to communicate to local residents to ensure their speedy and safe return.  Everbridge is also used by corporate customers to keep their businesses running such as during super storm Sandy or during cyber attacks.

Having grown to over 600 employees and achieving a successful IPO in 2016, Everbridge is fortunate to attract employees who enjoy working for a company with a double bottom line.  Not only has Everbridge built a financially successful company, but also one that saves lives and keeps businesses running.  That double bottom line gives employees a strong sense of purpose.   It allows them to feel good about what they do.  When Everbridge employees were working 24 hours a day during Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, the exhausting long hours were offset by knowing that their efforts were making a difference in the lives of millions of impacted residents.   Frequently receiving letters and emails from those whose family members or own lives have been saved because of Everbridge is a priceless reward for the company’s dedicated and selfless employees.  In one of the most highly competitive job markets in decades, this double bottom line helps Everbridge to attract, retain, and motivate top-notch talent.
