The Boston Globe Top Places to Work rankings are based upon an employee survey that gauges opinions on company’s management, direction, execution, work, pay, benefits and overall engagement. The list is broken into four categories; small (50-99 employees), medium (100-249 employees), large (250-299 employees) and largest (1,000+ employees). The confidential survey information is collected by Energage (formerly WorkplaceDynamics), an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention, from nearly 82,151 individuals at 318 Massachusetts organizations.
